This policy explains how Akuta Automações handles personal data in the Akuta Automações app (automated publishing of Instagram and YouTube content) and on this website, in accordance with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018, “LGPD”).
1. Who we are
Akuta Automações (“Akuta”) is operated by Marcelo Amengual Tavares, a Brazilian individual microentrepreneur (MEI), CNPJ 13.720.377/0001-67, based in Erechim, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Akuta is responsible for the processing of the data described here. Privacy contact: privacidade@akuta.com.br.
2. Who this policy applies to
- Clients: professionals and businesses that hire Akuta and connect their Instagram, Meta and Google/YouTube accounts to the app.
- Visitors: people who access this website or the short links used in clients' posts.
3. Data we process
Accounts connected by the client
Only with the client's authorization, given through the official Google or Meta login:
- YouTube: channel identification (ID and name) and permission to upload videos to the channel and set their details (title, description, tags, privacy and publish date).
- Instagram (professional account): account identification (ID and username), permission to publish photos, carousels and Reels, and reading of post and account metrics.
- Meta ads: access to the ad account the client authorizes, to create and monitor ads and read their results.
- Access tokens issued by Google and Meta, which allow the app to act on the authorized accounts.
Metrics are aggregated (reach, views, likes, comments, followers). The app does not collect direct messages, follower lists or data that identifies individual followers.
Public YouTube data
Using an API key, the app reads public YouTube data, such as the list of the latest videos on the client's channel.
Client content and contact details
Scripts, texts, images and videos the client provides or approves for publishing, and the client's contact details (name and email).
Visitors
- This website uses no cookies and no analytics or advertising tools.
- Short links record only the date, time and link accessed, to count clicks. This record does not include IP addresses or any other visitor identifier.
- Like any internet service, our servers may log technical access data (such as IP addresses) for a limited time, for security and troubleshooting.
4. How we use the data
- To publish the content the client approved on the client's accounts, on the agreed dates.
- To build performance reports for the client.
- To create and monitor ads, when contracted.
- To provide support, keep the service secure and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use data obtained from Google or Meta for targeted advertising, profiling or training artificial intelligence models.
5. Legal bases
- Performance of the contract with the client (LGPD art. 7, V).
- Consent, given when connecting each account through the official login and revocable at any time (art. 7, I).
- Legitimate interest, for security and anonymous click counting (art. 7, IX).
- Compliance with legal or regulatory obligations (art. 7, II).
6. Who we share data with
- Google (YouTube and Google Workspace) and Meta (Instagram and Facebook): the platforms where content is published and metrics come from, subject to their own policies. Google Workspace spreadsheets and folders are used to organize the client's content.
- Hostinger: server hosting.
- Anthropic (Claude API): drafts texts (captions and descriptions) from the client's scripts. Data obtained from the YouTube accounts connected to the app is not sent to Anthropic.
- Authorities, when required by law or court order.
These providers may process data outside Brazil. In such cases, the transfer follows LGPD art. 33, with the safeguards offered by each provider.
7. YouTube API Services
- The app uses YouTube API Services. By connecting your YouTube account, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service.
- Google's processing of data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
- You can revoke the app's access at any time on the Google Account security settings page.
- Akuta's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- Data from the authorized account is deleted within 30 days after access is revoked or deletion is requested. Public data obtained with the API key is refreshed or deleted within 30 days.
8. Meta platforms
Data received from Meta is used only for the purposes in this policy, in accordance with the Meta Platform Terms. To remove the app's access, use your Instagram or Facebook settings. To request deletion of your data, see Data deletion.
9. Cookies and device storage
This website uses no cookies. The account connection flow (Google or Meta login) may use a temporary technical cookie solely to complete the authorization securely. We use no analytics or advertising cookies.
10. How long we keep data
- Account tokens and identifiers: while the client keeps the service and the authorization active; deleted within 30 days after revocation, a deletion request or the end of the contract.
- Content, metrics and publishing records: during the contract and for up to 30 days afterwards, unless deletion is requested earlier.
- Data the law requires us to keep (for example, tax records): for the legal period.
11. Security
Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Tokens and keys are stored on a restricted-access server, outside code repositories, and access to them is limited to what the service needs to work.
12. Your rights
Under the LGPD (art. 18), you may request: confirmation of processing; access; correction; anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data or data processed unlawfully; portability; deletion of data processed based on consent; information about sharing; and withdrawal of consent. Write to privacidade@akuta.com.br; we reply within 15 days. You may also file a complaint with Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
13. Minors
The app is intended for professionals and businesses. We do not knowingly process data of people under 18.
14. Changes
